Hello and welcome to our website. We hope this gives you a flavour of life in Tankerstown National School. We are a rural primary school, situated on the scenic route to the Glen of Aherlow at the foot of The Galtee Mountains (just off the N24 between Cahir and Bansha).
We have four classroom teachers, and two special education teachers. We also have three special needs assistants, a part time secretary and part time cleaner and caretaker. Here in Tankerstown, we work in consultation with all members of the school community- pupils, parents, staff and the school community under the direction of the Board of Management.
