3rd and 4th Class is when pupils move up to the senior end of the school and are encouraged to extend their learning experiences. We also encourage more independence at this time, which the children enjoy. They often demonstrate what they have learned in SESE through project work. We also encourage the children to develop a sense of responsibility and motivation for their own learning. We also allow many opportunities for creativity in learning which can be seen through the wonderful artwork the children produce.

We also made models of The Titanic. We are very resourceful and used everyday materials we found at home like shoe boxes and empty toilet rolls.
As a designated school partaking in Food Dudes we promote healthy eating in our classroom.
We also used skittles and warm water to see how chemicals such as colourings in food can move from the food into the water.
In Science, we work together in groups to carry out different investigations. Wecarried out experiments to learn all about light, how light travels and the different colours that white light is broken up into.
