On the 21st and 22nd of March 2023, 3rd and 4th class were very lucky to have a 2 day animation workshop in school with animator Mike Byrne.
We used play-do to make figures and objects, and toys such as Lego and paper to create our backgrounds and scenes for the animations.
Each group created their own story line and used iPads to take lots of pictures and finally putting all of the pictures together to create the animation.
Everyone thoroughly enjoyed the workshop and it was a great experience for all to be involved in. We may have found some future animators and film makers in 3rd and 4th class!
