Last week we celebrated catholic schools week. We made a prayer for somebody that helps us e.g a doctor. We also made a prayer for god for if we are in need or need to talk. We learned about Saint Maximilian Kolbe who was sent to a concentration camp during world war 2 and comforted the Jewish and made them believe they would be freed. Eventually a group of people were selected to die a young man begged Saint Maximilian as he had a family and wanted to leave so he volunteered. After 14 days Maximilian was the last one alive still praying to god.
