We did a lot for friendship week, such as games, songs, secret pal, posters and more.
First, we will talk about the songs. Every classroom did a song for friendship week. 5thand 6th did ‘Stand by Me’ by Ben E. King. 3rd and 4th did ‘Thank you for being a friend’.1st and 2nd did ‘Count on me’ by Bruno Mars. Best for last, the infants did ‘you are my best friend’.
Everybody in the school had a secret pal who they had to be very nice to for the whole week. Only 7 people guessed their secret pal in the whole school.
There was also a poster challenge to see who had the best slogan and a good picture. Bill and Mia won in 5th and 6th. We also made friendship bracelets.
For the games we did some friendship week bingo and Mr Quinlan did a game in the hall where you had to find someone who had the same letters in their name as you.
