GAA plays a huge part in school life in Tankerstown NS. Teams compete at both u11 and u13 levels in hurling, football and ladies football also. After school training takes place during the school year and we are also very fortunate to have an external coach who coaches each classroom in the school in the skills of hurling, football and rounders.
