Overview
Sport is an excellent way to develop teamwork, cooperation and personal fitness in children. Here, we do our best to support every child to reach their full potential, and that is a different thing for every child. Children have two PE lessons per week, participate in the daily mile from First to Sixth Class and there is plenty of sporting activity throughout the lunch breaks.
In some sports we enter competitions; in all sports we encourage all to get stuck in. In PE lessons, all strands of the curriculum are considered carefully and non-competitive/ cooperative activities are promoted wherever possible.
